When my friend enthused about a Phoenix chiropractor who does Botox injections, I thought she’d taken too many injections. Why would a chiropractor do Botox? Isn’t that in the realm of cosmetic surgeons? I myself had been giving serious consideration to having Botox done, but I figured the cost would be astronomical by going to a plastic surgeon. They’ll charge an arm and a leg because they can. But here words intrigued me enough to look further into the matter and sure enough this chiropractor does indeed perform Botox injections. I thought going in for a consultation was worth the time.
At the very least I could possibly figure out further options if this didn’t pan out. I’m over sixty and I could definitely benefit from this procedure, although I’m not interested at all in going overboard with it. We have all seen some of the ladies in Hollywood who look like statues because they took too many injections. I just wanted a couple around my eyes to maybe help with some of the deeper wrinkles that keep getting worse as I get older. I didn’t even care if they disappeared entirely just as long as they softened out a bit.
I met with the chiropractor and liked him immediately. He took the time to carefully explain everything. He explained what Botox actually is, how it works, and how they administer it. He had me look into a mirror as he showed me where they would make the injections and how long it would take to work. He even mentioned that it’s not a permanent solution to wrinkles, which I appreciated. I like to get the whole story and he gave it to me. I’ve made an appointment for the injections and am definitely looking forward to seeing how it works out!
